What
would a trip to Charleston be without shopping?
Joseph
scurried after me carrying bags down King Street for two days. It was well worth the blistered
feet and dent in Joseph’s wallet at the end of our trip. Some
of my favorite stores were V2V, Hampden Clothing and Bob Ellis Shoes.
Here
are some of my favorite finds….
Elizabeth and James by alena-smith featuring wedge sandals
I
absolutely {love} Elizabeth
and James clothes and
shoes. Mary Kate and Ashley turned the
tables with their masculine yet feminine clothing line. This dress made me feel like I was in my 20’s
again and I got it at a great price at Hampden Clothing (40 percent off).
The
wedge platform shoes tickled my fancy so much I bough both colors. The fit was perfect and they are just as
comfortable. Since my day-to-day style
is filled with natural colors they go wonderfully with most of my wardrobe.
At
Bob Ellis
Shoes,
I could not resist myself with Hunter Rainboots!
I went with a taupe color since it is more likely to match everything
I own. I do {love} all the bright
colors however, the only color I wanted was turquoise
and it is impossible to find unless you get lucky on ebay.
The best for last…..
While
in V2V on King Street, I found this lovely
little number by everyone’s favorite Orange County Housewife, Alexis.
I fell in {love} with the design and feel of the fabric. I put this one on and immediately Joseph
says, “SOLD”.
So now I am happy to say it is hanging in my closet.
